This course goes through a contextual understanding of James. We will learn about the political, geographical, religious, and historical background of the recipients. Using a mix of New Testament thought, background books, and commentaries, we will be able to decipher the book of James in its context. From this course, we hope to gain not only a deeper understanding of James, but how to live out the believers life in our own context.
